Yes ! The Camargue is an ISLAND !

It's geographically proven and not just a catch-phrase taken by poets and writers.

In Arles, the Rhône is divided in two arms : "Le Petit Rhône" on the east side and the "Grand Rhône" on the west side. They delimit the "Delta du Rhône".

"L'île de Camargue" is the space between the two arms of the Rhône and his heart is the Vaccarès pond.
